“Doctor Yogi’s” Yoga Anatomy Immersion Course September 2017

This weekend immersion explores in detail the anatomy and physiology of your body applied to practicing and teaching yoga. All topics are related back to the asana practice and the sessions are interactive and experiential with a lot of group work.

There is a focus on healthy alignment and practicing safely. A detailed manual will also be included.


This immersion is ideal for those with an established yoga practice who want to learn more about their bodies, go deeper in their yoga practice and prevent injury.

An introduction to the structure and function of muscle, bone and fascia will be given. A detailed exploration of the lower limbs, upper limbs and spine. Plus the science behind why yoga makes us feel so good.

Doctor Yogi, Andrew McGonigle  is a yoga teacher, massage therapist and anatomy teacher with a background in western medicine. Based in London, Andrew has been practicing yoga and meditation for 12 years and teaching since 2009. Teaching exclusively at Triyoga, Andrew’s classes are open to all levels and encourage students to develop awareness of patterns of tension in their bodies with a goal to release stress.
